Jacqueline Kent spent the first ten years of
her sculpturing career delighting collectors with her one-of-a-kinds
and, her reputation as a respected one of a kind artist grew rapidly.
Her work was featured in galleries across the U.S.A., with several
celebrity-status clients and, in Canada, she became well known
through her exposure at one of a kind shows. Eventually, due to
repeated requests for sculpturing classes, she began to run “Learn
to Sculpture” seminars at least twice a year. In the spring
of 2001, unable to keep up with demands for her originals, she
began contemplating reproductions and, eventually, signed a contract
with a giftware and collectibles company, to reproduce her original
work.
As a design specialist in the world of mass
production, she continued to create her designs for the next several
years. Featured as a guest artist across Canada and the U.S.A.,
audiences were captivated by her work and it was easy to see that,
as she worked, she was able to communicate emotions, ranging from
joy to solemn reflection, while exploring the corners of everyday
life. Love, celebration, the “good ol’ days”
and fond memories were just some of the vibrant descriptive of
the whimsical nature of her work.
Today, there is a strong demand for her one-of-a-kinds
and her reproduction lines continue to grow. Requests for her
sculpturing classes still pour in and, despite her many commitments;
she presently teaches in her London, Ontario studio.
Jacqueline currently designs for KURT
S ADLER, INC.
